Hello., my name is Mike. 60 years ago, when I was about 8 or 9, my aunt gave me a cigar-box full of foreign stamps. These were some of her 'extras'... and this is how I began my rewarding, life-long odyssey of stamp collecting. But now I am old and its time to start letting go of what I have collected and accumulated over these years.... I intend to count out my stamp collection into lots of ABOUT 1000 stamps: You will not actually get a 'cigar box' of stamps, but I will carefully place the accumulated stamp lots in glassine in envelopes, (or possibly whole or partial stamp albums pages) and ship in small packages. There will be much variety: There will be many time periods and there will be many older stamps (from the 18th cent.) Some lots will have some very old stamps in them! The pictures I took are of the initial lot I put together and portray the type and variety of the lots.. So the buyer and/or bidder needs to be aware that the most current lots for sell may not include some of the same stamps pictured.... But they do reflect and indicate the type and variety of stamps that will be in the lot. Stamps will be both used and unused/mint cond., Most stamps have been removed from my many albums that I have, so most of these stamps will have been hinged. Also many unused stamps were previously mounted unhinged. There will attempt to have very little duplication within each lot. And, of course, there is the possibility of some overlooked faulty stamps, but I will add an additional 30 to 40 stamps to make up for this eventuality!
