Vintage Stamp Collecting Albums. --- The Modern Collector's Postage Stamp Album (Whitman, 1935) --- The New World Wide Postage Stamp Album (Minkus, 1953) --- The Jefferson United States Stamp Album (Grossman Stamp, 1955) --- General Stamp Album (Dansco, 1955) --- The New World Wide Postage Stamp Album (Minkus, 1964) --- Golden Stamp Book (???) Also included, for nostalgia's sake, are "The Stamp Finder" booklet (The Philatelic Institute, 1959) and the Minkus Publications catalog (Fall 1959). Albums and booklets have yellowed pages from age. Some have writing. Bindings are worn but fairly intact, except the Golden Stamp Book, which has been taped. Some stamps are hinged in, but most pages are empty. The prior owner was a stamp collector; I am not. I cannot answer anything specific about an individual stamp. The included stamps are from various countries and could include some gems. Even if they don't, the stamps, along with the information in the albums, could be great for a starting collector!
